If you have a situation where you think you have a dental emergency but you’re unsure, just give us a call. We’ll let you know if you should come in to our office right away, if you can safely wait until morning, how to self-care until you can reach our office, whether you should go to an emergency room first, or anything else that is needed.
The main priority during a dental emergency is your health and the health of your teeth and gums. Please don’t hesitate to contact us in the event of a dental emergency.
One of the awful things about toothaches is that they can come on suddenly or slowly. They may build up over days or wake you up in the middle of the night. Excruciating toothaches almost always happen due to not seeing the dentist regularly. They come about because a tooth has been damaged or the gums are in bad shape.
Other dental emergencies happen due to accidents. People fall down, get hit in the wrong place on a sports field or in the backyard, experience a motor vehicle accident, or experience blunt force trauma to the mouth in another way.
